1. Close all applications.
2. Insert the Microsoft Office 2010 for Mac disc into your computer’s optical drive, and then double-click the disc icon to open it.
3. In the Welcome to Microsoft Office for Mac 2011 screen, click Continue.
4. Read the software license agreement, and then click Continue if you agree to the terms of the agreement.
5. In the Which products do you want to install? dialog box, select Excel, and then click Install.
6 When installation is complete, click Finish to restart your computer (if prompted).
